What does it take to cultivate, hire, sustain and generate great investigative reporting that can lead to changes in local communities? The Center for Investigative Reporting and PRX will share what they have learned working with stations.  This pre-conference workshop with CIR staff and other practitioners will guide stations through sustainability, capacity building, editing, impact measurement, engagement and production of investigative news.

This pre-conference session focuses on developing skills that help pledge producers create, coach and deliver effective fundraising breaks that sound good too. This one-day workshop focuses on the building of strong presentation skills among all participants in on-air drives.
