General Assignment Reporter

Hawaii Public Radio is looking for an experienced broadcast journalist to join our award-winning news team.  The successful candidate will be working with others in a dynamic and fast-paced community-focused environment, reporting several radio stories each week, and making contributios to online and social media content.  This position requires a motivated self-starter who is able to develop his or her own story ideas across a variety of topics.  Additional duties include participation in pledge drives and other station events as needed.  We are seeking a high-energy individual who will bring curiosity, drive, and a strong work ethic along with some knowledge of Hawaii.  This is not an entry-level position.
