Fundraising and Programming
There are many different ways that stations organize and delegate
responsibility for on-air fundraising campaigns. But it is important
for everyone at your station to remember that fund raising IS
programming. Listeners expect the same levels of quality and service
whether or not the station is raising money. Poor quality fund raising
disappoints listeners and encourages tune-out – both of which diminish
the likelihood of a station successfully reaching its financial and
listener service goals.
