Sponsorship Opportunities and Marketing Guidelines
SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
The 2008 Public Radio Program Directors Conference will be held September 17 - 20 at the Rennaisance Hollywood in Hollywood, CA. More than 500 programmers are expected to attend this year's event, the only national conference dedicated solely to programming and programming issues.
Meal sponsorship:
By sponsoring a breakfast or lunch for conference attendees, you have the opportunity to:
- make a presentation during the meal
- place promotional items in the conference tote bag
- purchase room drops from the hotel
Meal sponsors also receive one complimentary 8’x10’ Booth in the Exhibit/Vendor area.
Break Sponsorship:
By sponsoring a break for conference attendees you can:
- have a display and/or make a brief presentation during your break
- place promotional items in the conference tote bag
- purchase room drops from the hotel
Conference sponsors can place an unlimited number of items in the conference tote bag without charge. This offer does not include shipping or drayage fees, which are the responsibility of the sponsor. PRPD does not include advertising in the official conference program.
SPONSOR MEAL AND BREAK GUIDELINES
All meal and break sponsors must coordinate their selections with Hamilton Associates for minimum catering requirements and consistency before their co-sponsorship selections have been finalized with the hotel.
MARKETING GUIDELINES
To ensure that marketing and promotion complement the conference and do not conflict with the conference agenda and its focus on programming issues, the following guidelines have been established:
To avoid conflicts with conference sessions and sponsored events in the conference agenda, no marketing/promotional events will take place during the dates/times listed below:
2:00pm - midnight, Wednesday, September 17
7:45 am - 5:30pm, Thursday, September 18/Friday, September 19
7:15 am - 1pm, Saturday, September 20
These dates/times should be considered a "blackout" period for any promotional/marketing activities.
No promotional materials of any kind, including signs, are to be distributed or displayed anywhere in the hotel except in:
- The exhibit area (by exhibitors only)
- In sponsor venues during their sponsored meal/break/event
PRPD asks that all conference attendees honor these guidelines.
