Basic: The PD Workshop– September 14 – 16, 2008
Ideal for those new to public radio programming or in need of a review of the basics, the PD Workshop helps you develop the skills necessary to be a successful, productive program director. This intensive workshop will address, among other topics, establishing your station in the market, formatics and scheduling, station image and positioning, programming appeal and the practical uses of research, station sound and airchecking and promotions and on-air fundraising.

Intermediate: BEYOND the Basics - September 15 – 16, 2008 - REGISTRATION CLOSED FOR 2008
For the intermediate level Program Director, BEYOND the Basics focuses on deepening your knowledge in three areas of professional development; growing management and interpersonal skills, applying audience research information to programming decisions and developing sustainable programming strategies. Participants learn strategies for improvement using practical applications to make the workshop content work for you. This workshop is highly customized to the needs of those who attend.
