Part-time Production Assistant

 KPCW is the NPR station serving Summit and Wasatch counties with local news, interviews, and AAA music format.  

Position: Part-time Production Assistant 

Job Summary: The part-time Production Assistant hours are Monday-Friday from 9am to 12:00 at the KPCW studios in Old Town Park City.  Under the direction of the Production Director, the Assistant’s duties include post-production of the 8:00 am Local News Hour and other KPCW shows, helping with scheduling Traffic, and assisting with other needs from the Program Department. 

Responsibilities: 

Post-production of KPCW shows which includes 
   -Editing audio of shows for multiple formats 
   -Creating website posts for shows 
  -Publishing episodes to podcast players 
  -Creating social media posts 

Schedules on-air Traffic 
Assists Program Department where needed 

Qualifications: 

· Knowledge of Adobe Audition or other digital audio workstations 
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office products 
· Familiarity with website CMS
· Audio and copy-editing experience
· Good computer skills

·        Critical thinker 
·        Eye for detail
