The Millennial Research Project – PRPD’s latest, system-wide knowledge project will have its first full-scale roll-out. We’ll learn what our next audience thinks about our brand our value in the mediascape, diversity and inclusion – and you’ll discover the role local shows play in bonding this critical audience to your station.
Reveal Your Community: The Campaign for Local Growth – The Center for Investigative Reporting and PRX share their experiences launching Reveal to rally and organize local stations to mount long-form collaborative investigations, revolutionize their talent pipeline, get in front of hungry audiences and inspire courageous philanthropists who can fuel the work.
PRX's Project Catapult – The public radio audience has demonstrated its strong attachment to on-demand audio. Local stations are figuring out how to leverage this opportunity. The seven stations in the CPB funded Project Catapult will walk you through their process and what they’ve learned about how to expand their remit and meaningfully engage in this space.

The Content Conference is the ONLY national convening devoted solely to public radio content and programming.
The Content Conference is now accepting proposals for sessions at the 2017 Conference, August 14-17, in Washington DC. Interested parties may submit their ideas by email to email@example.com between now and the Call for Proposals closing date of May 22, 2017.
Proposals will only be considered if the following criteria are met:
- Subject line of email reads “2017 Content Conference Session Submission”
- Proposed session should be one hour in length
- Include a session title in ten words or less
- Include a description of the session in less than 100 words
- Include the name, title and company for any speakers you envision as part of the session; please designate a moderator and panelists for panel submissions
- You include your full contact information (name, title, company, address, city, state, zip, phone and email) at the conclusion of your submission
Those wishing to nominate themselves as a potential speaker not associated with any specific session can do so by email to firstname.lastname@example.org between now and the Call for Proposals closing date of May 15, 2017.
Speakers will only be considered if the following criteria are met:
- Subject line of email reads “2017 Content Conference Speaker Submission”
- You include a list of no more than three areas of expertise you would feel comfortable speaking on.
- You attach your bio as a Microsoft Word attachment and not as part of the body of the email
- You include a brief explanation (50 words or less) as to why you would be a good speaker at the Content Conference
- You include any external links (LinkedIn, company website) in the body of the email
- You include your full contact information (name, title, company, address, city, state, zip, phone number and email) at the conclusion of your submission

The Public Radio Program Directors Association is seeking an individual or team to lead a two-day workshop on the qualities, characteristics and practices that make an individual an effective program director. The workshop should be designed to introduce new PDs and anyone aspiring to a management position in public media to the core responsibilities and skills for station-based content leadership.
PRPD has commissioned an original memo that covers current requirements and explains the transition from hard copy to online public files. Along the way, it reminds stations that the public file requirements are being modified, not eliminated, and that once the file goes online next year, there will be no place to hide.
